Dining environment: Clean and vibrant, sufficient spacing between tables Customer service: Polite to customer, not proactive but willing to serve when requiring their assistance Food taste: Had smoked salmon bagel, truffle mushroom risotto, and ribs. All three were nice, except the ribs side dish(mac n cheese was subpar, maybe fries would've been better) Price: Slightly expensive range (they charge 10% service charge), but still reasonably priced. Remarks: Pet friendly cafe. May see pets roaming around inside. Final verdict: Nice place to eat. Willing to come again next time.

The platta roasted chicken is tender and taste good. However, the smashed pork burger is a little let down. The patty is a bit dry. Very nice dining environment, spacious.

I visited Platta Café for breakfast and the experience was overall pleasant. The café has a very modern, minimalist vibe with plenty of natural light and greenery that gives a refreshing touch. I especially liked the wall mural art and the stylish mix of wooden furniture with concrete finishes – it feels cozy yet chic. The café is also pet-friendly, which makes it even more enjoyable for pet lovers like me. We ordered a couple of dishes – the roti jala with curry and the scrambled egg open sandwich with salad. The roti jala was nicely done with a light texture and paired with a flavorful curry that had a good mix of spice and richness. The scrambled egg toast was creamy and well-seasoned, served on hearty bread with a fresh side salad. Overall, the food was just fine – decent portions, balanced flavors, though not particularly outstanding. What stood out the most was the service and atmosphere. The staff were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. The pet-friendly setup is a big plus, and it felt very relaxing to enjoy breakfast in a space where pets are comfortable and accepted. If you’re looking for a calm breakfast spot with a trendy interior and welcoming service, Platta Café is worth a visit. While the food is okay and could be a bit more impressive, the overall ambiance and hospitality make up for it. Definitely a nice café to unwind with good company (and even your furry friends).

I’ve been here twice and they’ve both been very pleasant dining experiences First time we visited with our dog (yes they’re pet friendly! ) and we had a great time. Food was great, drinks are good, atmosphere was relaxing. It was a Saturday so it was a bit busy but that’s what you’d expect, really. This second time, we came for lunch and it was just the 2 of us. So I’ll give my comments in categories for ease of comprehension: Food: We had the rose spaghetti with battered prawns and the poached eggs with hem on olive bread. For drinks we had the matcha latte and hazelnut latte, salted caramel cheesecake for dessert. Everything was good—portions, waiting time, flavours, and choices. They also have a $19.90 lunch menu for the weekdays with some scrumptious Asian options! Atmosphere: I really like the set up at Platta. It’s a large space with tables sufficiently spaced so you can have some privacy if you wish, and there’s ample private parking space as well. A very easy spot to visit if you’re in the area and don’t want to be faced with the hassle of hunting for the ever elusive parking spot. Service: All of the staff are super friendly (they even open the doors for you!) and very attentive. No complaints, really! And each time you visit you get a 1 for 1 coffee voucher too, so that’s always a plus TL;DR: Great food, good service, ample private parking, pet-friendly, 15% off Grab dining-out! 5 ⭐s all around.

Having dinner with my Hong Kong neighbour and his family as per recommendation from his badminton friends from YMCA. Nested right opposite Tsu Chi building at the early part of Perak road on a renovated old bungalow, Platta cafe is probably difficult to find if you’re not well informed. However, the food served and the services are very good indeed but do take note that this restaurant doesn’t serve wine so need to byo unless you are fine with having beer instead. The good thing is they do not charge corkage for it. Will come back for more ; good stuff.

I went there on a Sunday morning for breakfast. It wasn’t crowded, and there was plenty of parking available. The food and coffee were good—no complaints at all.

Came here for dinner, love the ambiance. Generous portion and price point is worth it. Plenty of parking spaces , very suitable for event hosting since they even have a dedicated event space. Especially love the pork ragu pasta
